| The Bolshnik Family has as its patriarch [[Prince Othmar Bolshnik]]. He rules over the [[Heartland Duchy]] in north-central and north-eastern [[Nova Vaasa]]. Its northern and western limits are respectively the Darkonese border and the [[Sea of Sorrows]]. A line extended from the [[Bergovitaa]] to the sea marks its southern border. The point of merging of the [[Borchava River]] and the [[Vaughn Dnar River]] marks its western border. [[Kantora]] and [[Egertus]] fall then under the sway of the Bolshniks. [[Stonegard]], the seat of the Bolshnik family and of its patriarch Prince Othmar, sits opposite [[Kantora]] on the north bank of the [[Vaughn Dnar River]].
