Lord Henredon was the brother of Lorel. He traveled to Blaustein and Castle Bluebeard to rescue his sister from Bluebeard's clutches. He confronted Bluebeard, demanding to see his sister. Bluebeard demanded (and forcibly removed) Henredon's tongue in return. To Henredon's horror, he found he could not communicate with Lorel, as her eyes had been torn from their sockets, and thus could not persuade her to flee with him before the grace period of dawn Bluebeard had granted him.
