Alba Iulia is one of Transylvania's oldest cities. Ruled over by Hungarian nobles, most of the people are Romanian peasants. Important locations include the Citadel of Karlsburg and St. Michael's Cathedral, the latter of which holds the Tomb of Janos Hunyadi.[1]
