He became [[obsessed]] with it, to the point that he terrorized [[Wesle's Family\|his family]] to protect it, indirectly caused the [[death]] of Moro, and even [[murdered]] Geryn after he learned of its [[theft]]. When Wesle caught up with the [[thief]] in [[Kantora]], the [[old]] man simply gave it back to him and truly asked him if he wanted it back, even considering all the trauma he had caused his family. Wesle disavowed the possibility he had committed any [[transgression]].
