Kiril vehemently disagreed, believing the increased size represented too much of a responsibility and reliability, and Kiril ultimately settled the matter by appealing to Strahd. Emil was taken away to [[Castle Ravenloft]] and Kiril retained leadership, but the group still remains divided by Kiril's tactics.<ref>[[Curse of Strahd]] p. 201</ref>
