After becoming [[trapped]] in a [[warded]] [[mausoleum]] with several of the hired help, Adros [[murdered]] them (as he was planning to eventualy anyway) and eventually became hungry enough to eat their remains. Somehow, the mausoleum's walls opened up following this act of [[evil]]. At first hesitating, Adros emerged from the mausoleum to find the sky the color of midnight black, and then he collapsed in a writhing mass. When he awoke, he was the darklord of the Domain of Graven and also a [[ghoul lord]].<ref name=EoTp.83-84>[[Elements of Terror]], [[QtR18]], p.83-84</ref>

Adros Janol's disposition depends on his current hunger. If craving flesh, he will attack on sight. If not, he will be more amicable and wanting to learn about what has been happening in the world outside his domain.<ref name=EoTp.84>[[Elements of Terror]], [[QtR18]], p.84</ref>
