Glammazon: The earliest version of the Eladrin l know of were called the Faedorne.

The elite Faerie in the Monstrous Manual were actually called the Faedorne.

This is the first edition of the Monstrous Manual to be dedicated to the Ravenloft world in the form of a book. It lists many of the monsters created specifially for this game world, especially the various types of vampire that haunt Ravenloft. Among the many undead listed in the book is the Insect Skeleton, an entry for which only the text was ever published - the picture for this entry is that of the Drow Vampire, which also appears in its own entry later on.

*Apparently, the art for the Insect Skeleton was so weird-looking, it was never used in the book.

*The Monstrous Compendium Appendices l & ll were not published in book form till after this book had already come out. They'd been published in loose leaf form earlier.

Glammazon: The Drow Vampire picture appears twice in the Monstrous Manual Appendix III.

The Drow Vampire picture is also used for the Insectoid Skeleton entry as well.

I agree. In Frankenstein, the creature is never named, and is properly billed as "Frankenstein's Monster." Adam, however, was named. [[User:DeepShadow|DeepShadow]] 00:11, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

True, but in the black and red boxes, as well as Gaz II, he's billed as "Mordenheim's Monster (Adam)" or "Mordenhiem's Monster, "Adam"". (Only Domains of Dread says simply "Adam"). Eladrin

An Eladrin is a type of fey that was originally called a "High Elf" in the original version of Dungeons & Dragons. They look like tall elves with eerie green and blue eyes and usually live in a magical forest land away from all other peoples, even humans. However, some of them materialize in the game worlds if they have been sent on a mission. Isolde is the only Eladrin residing in Ravenloft, and she is the leader of the Carnival. She came to the evil realm after the Gentleman Caller and had protected people who have fallen victim to his seductive powers.
