The End of Time... I was waiting for a reaction on the boards because I expected one but, I guess I will open.

Enjoyed it very much and the tragedy of it made me cry! I tend to catch a lot of what comes in Dr. Who episodes before they do, and yet the differences in the more dramatic (Sometimes melodramatic but hey I like it anyways!) scenes in this plot line kept me more off balance. Sometimes I could still predict, yet others I was blindsided. Tennant was my favorite Doc so far and I am still a little sad to see him go, but I wonder what this new doctor will be like!

As a side poll... Who was your favorite Doctor Who? Tennant as I said was mine!

Frantically awaiting it in a format I can access -- I am a be-nighted soul who has only basic cable for reception, and neither Syfy nor BBC America are part of that. Unless it consists of Tennant reading the Edinburgh phone book, I'm planning on enjoying it. That said, I've been a slavering fan-girl of Tennant since he arrived. I'm hard-pressed to think of an episode (of what I've seen) that I didn't like. The stories were sharp and compelling, and Tennant did a fab job of portraying the Doctor's loneliness, hubris, intelligence and general "alien-ness" (ick, awful word, but I can't seem to find another one at the moment). And, well, he's easy on the eyes too I have a good time, and I remember how exciting it was back when I discovered the Doctor.

Favorite -- hmmm, tough one. I'll get back to you on that.

I was disappointed by most of the first part, but the ending was jaw dropping. Really, it was all set-up.
This is fine for a regular episode (like the penultimate episode of series 4) but less interesting for a special. While I can't imagine it all fitting into a single hour, it would have made an amazing ninety-minute special. And the scenes of saying "goodbye" went on a little longer than I'd like (shades of LotR).

Tennant is going to be a hard act to follow. I imagine a short, disappointing stint for the next Doctor followed by another more popular Doctor whose able to step outside the 10th's shadow.

Was entertained but also disappointed, too much seemed to happen too fast with what felt like too little explaination. I think the second part was much better than the first though.

At least #10 got a good long time between being fatally injured and actually regenerating so as to put his affairs in order.
