Going there soon (no, I won't put a cent in the machines).
Anything to recommend in this strange land of the marvelous extravaganza, the weird and the kitsh?

Thanks for the mention! These guys are from Montréal, so I know they are producing half of the shows in Las Vegas. The Cirque du Soleil and Arcade Fire are our best ambassadors these days
FYI, I will see Love, front row tickets (booked in April), next Sunday night! I will then watch for another one, maybe Mystère or O.

LOVE is amazing. I had watery eyes for the first half hour from the beauty of it.
Then we saw KA. Cool also!
I love Cirque du Soleil, and I'm very proud these guys are from my home town.

Other than that, nothing really gothic or horrific in Las Vegas, other than the whole idea

Did they have clowns? I always find that Cirque du Soleil has the creepiest clowns.

Not in LOVE, but in KA. Indeed, they would often look at home with the skurra

Although I've never been there, it seems to me that the best stuff would be in the out of the way places. The heyday of Vegas was the 50s & 60s and so the interesting stuff would be the roadside restaurants and casinos that haven't been updated since then.
