Café de Nuit

Has anyone looked to Halloween haunt attractions for any inspiration for domains, darklords, etc? These can be major ones like Halloween Horror Nights or independent ones well outside of the theme park circuit.
For me, the pocket domain of Bohemian (for the domain of Mordent, and later part of a cluster all its own) emerged from the Waxworks Maze made by Knott's Scary Farm some years back. Likewise, there was a Tower of London themed haunt not too far from me yeeeaaars ago that was quite theatrical. I've used ideas from that for a game in Darkon at one point.
But, what say you all?

I can't cause we don't have these in my country, but I'd like to hear other people's ideas.
