Nowdays, I often get several "429: Too many requests" error when I try to peruse the forum.

It is nearly impossible to use the forum. Each time I click on a link I need to refresh 5-10 times to get it to load. I am new here and find this a shame as I was looking forward to reading a lot of what these posts offer.

Any word on what the problem is? I'm ready to shoot the little gremlin that has gotten into the system.

No word yet. I spent some time with our hosting support line, and they escalated it to "specialists". I should hear back from them within a few days, but nothing yet.
Does seem a bit better to me for the past day or so. Might just be lucky, or maybe they did something, not sure.
The error message seems like maybe we got targeted by some bots or a DDOS or something like that, but that's just a guess

Maybe it's just me but I haven't seen an error message today. Fingers, toes, and tentacles crossed they fixed the problem.

I spoke too soon. I browsed the forums for hours earlier today to do some research for a new game and it didn't happen once. Just logged back on and I can't touch a link without it happening.

Yeah, it was blocking me all day yesterday. Back now, not sure for how long!

I guess some of the "blood donors" on whose blood the magic rituals that keep up the Fraternity's site going have ... less than the purity required by said rituals.
