This is a new weekly live streamed show on D&D's Twitch/YouTube channel (Thursdays 7pm ET). It's using official 5e content and rules. I have watched the pre-show and 1st session and it's pretty awesome! They will be having an audio podcast version as well.

Interesting i'll have to give it a watch. It has a few familiar faces to me. (I watch Vampire the Masquerade a bit so know B.D. Walters a bit, Becca Scott was in commercials of Critical Role half time for a good bit, and Mark Meer is of course the voice actor for Commander Shepard in Mass Effect.) It also looks like it might be ran a bit with a wider net if you look at Mark Meer's character, who both is From Darkon, and Worships Ezra. The art also has what I presume is Strahd, Tatyana, and Azalin at the top. (Unless I'm completely mistaken.)

A character is also named Tatyana so might play through a character being reincarnated as her... hmmm... Thanks for sharing!

Without spoiling too much, there is someone you will recognize in session 1 that is unexpected. Also, if you cannot make it through the whole thing, at least check out the last 12 minutes for something special as well.

Sounds good, I plan on it. I just can't listen to it while at work. So maybe sometime by the end of the week i'll be through it, since i'll listen to it on the way home.

Looking forward to listening to this one when they put up the audio podcast. (and when I finish Tales from the Mists. I'm just over halfway at episode 21)

Heh watched both the "House of Lament" part, and the first episode on the DnD Channel. Was pretty good, I can definitely tell Mark and Dave know a good portion of the older lore. I actually wasn't sure if they were going to name drop when he appeared. I almost immediately called that along with who was at the house in the beginning. Lots of mist teleporting around / timey whimy potential here. I think I undrestand why though since it's a fairly large cast. Also good to see Jason Carl still requires his intake of blood.

I made a post in the 'what we know topic.' Hopefully I didn't totally misplace it there, but as the DM of this game seems to have access to the book early, and has mentioned he'll be playing this one "close to the book" as possible. I figured it warrented discussion over there. Overall I can say I'm enjoying the story / campaign though I imagine it can be hard juggling 6 different players. Dave seems to be doing really well at that at the moment though.
