Savage Ravenloft: Into The Mists
Posted: Sat Feb 09, 2019 12:33 am
So I'm running a PBP game of Ravenloft with the Savage Worlds rules on a different site, gone with all the characters being Outlanders as not all the players are familiar with the setting.
Current Party
Alba Dawnherald - Sun Soul Paladin
Ilija Borisov - Dhampir Weird Scientist
Orne Romazi - Gnome Bard/Rogue
Other Mother - Caregiver Golem (Created)
Tralon Vextren - Dwarf Fighter
Game started with the various characters being taken from their respective worlds by the Mists and dumped in the middle of Mordent, all complete strangers and none of them speaking the same language. Other Mother knew Mordentish (being from the same world that Mordent was), so was the only one able to read signposts and talk to the locals when they encountered them. They've recently arrived in Mordentshire and have been met by the Lamplighters before being taken to a large house. A local wizard has been summoned who'll be casting a speak language spell to least enable the group to properly talk to one another, though they'll be receiving a more permanent version of the same spell in the form of an amulet.
First adventure will be an adapted version of the Howls in the Night adventure, something I'm willing to post if people are interested. Also looking to do something with the Sinister Gallery Dread Possibility from the Gazetteer entry on Mordent.
