I rolled a 3, but I'm fairly certain Ben believes the guy. He's also getting concerned he's about to see these two violent characters beat this man to death in front of him.

The party is now attracting attention from people in the nearby tavern. No one is screaming for the watch, but that very well could be next...

Updated. Expect another update tomorrow. I'm operating on the assumption everyone but Cirdan is headed toward the Goats, after having dropped off the thug with the gendarmes. If that's not so, please correct me.

Cirdan may show up a bit later, or he may be up to something else. In any case, may I assume that all the PCs intend to call upon Evangleine the next day?

It's not exactly what Benn had in mind for his relaxing evening, but perhaps he might swing by the Sign of the Goat for a drink, if only to watch what trouble these two get up to now. And dinner, as well, for similar reasons.

Have posted a description for the tavern/eating house. The place is only about an hour's walk away from the gendrame station [a bit longer from Evangeline's home, so Cirdan might be a bit late, if he decides to show up- Rafe can PM me about this, if he likes].
