Well Wolf, It wasn't until you just pointed it out that I realized your not from a and English speaking country. I think you have a good grasp of the language.

I actually have a theory that people who do not speak English natively have a better grasp of the language in its written form because they have to use all our silly rules every time they write, while we Americans on the other hand tend to be lazy writers.

I'm from Colombia, 'Buddy, haven't you noticed my latin american accent???

I'm certainly striving to follow all your "silly" rules to the letter (However, if you're looking for a lot of silly rules, try writing in spanish

)
Thanks for the support, you guys. I'll let HMB or Strahdsbuddy go on... Melissa is a very prudent girl, you know.

I'm confused!

Are there three of us, or four of us?
Sheridon, Melissa, Florian, and Mortimer?
Or did I miss something and somebody's hiding outside?

There are four but Sheridon was already inside.

You know Strahdsbuddy, every time I read one of your posts where you laugh at your own jokes, I can't help but think of those Tony Sinclair commercials.
Awesome!

What else does M. know about this Tobias Crawford?

Tobias was a lecherous and sadistic bugger of a man. It was rumored he purposely drove his wife insane to the point of suicide just to watch her fall. However all this is very hush hush of course. Bascially he is the uncle no one admits exist and the family has done a pretty good job of erasing him.
Whether he died from the Crawford curse or not is unknown. However there are rumors that his wifes ghost has been seen in various Crawford homes at one time or another. These rumors are generally scoffed at though as the ravings of servants and those who are prone to hysteria..

I'm assuming that Kevic is referring to himself when he said "crazed mystic".
If he's not, then my joke doesn't work. I can rewrite it, or we can pretend that it's all part of Florian's difficulties with a foreign tongue.

Yeah he was referring to himself. No worries...

I don't know if I went too far with my last post. I guess the little DM in me took over for a minute, with the diary and the story of Tobias Crawford and everything. Besides, M. hadn't had an opportunity to reply to Florian's comments, or to Kevic's interest in the library (Something she would've certainly done), so I assumed her attention should have been somewhere else. Should I edit the post?

That post was perfect! I can't think of any better way to say it. Very well done, no please don't edit it.
I always view Ravenloft as more of a combined story telling effort. For this reason I am always happy to let people add to the story how they wish to a degree. Thank you for adding your touch, with your reaction to the diary, it gives us some insight into the character, gives me more as a DM to work with and was just an overall well written post.
Also the rest of you are doing well yourselves. I consider myself very lucky to be part of this and hope we continue forging this story together for a very long time.
