trying to sort that one out. The posts have been deleted, but they are still showing on the list of threads. it's weird.
EDIT: Got it. Figured out I had to "resync" the forum to get them to go away.

This is not urgent (as you have your memberlist and member profiles locked down to non-logged in users) but you have
22 pages of zero post members on your forums, some of whom seem to be profile spammers (who have put URLs in the "website" field of their profiles).
Here is an example of an account where I believe the user is a profile spammer:
Arrilarof. This user is also a signature spammer, as well as a profile spammer, as they have also used their forum signature to add a similar spam link to the other link.
There are several URLs based in Russia. Not every Russian URL is dangerous, but there are a lot of bad actors on their URLs, and I would be especially cautious about those accounts.
HarryPacheco is promoting a website URL that ends with "attraction/attract-women-fast/" so that is not a real Ravenloft fan. And that account also has two signature spam links.
That's just a few that stood out to me. I did not do a full check. You might want to go through all the zero-post members at some point, as some of the URLs that have been posted might be harmful to any of your users.

I prune this list once in a while, mainly looking for url in signature, but a recent board problem makes it impossible to delete users, we can just : erase their posts, erase their signature and ban the account. Which takes longer and doesn’t erase the spam account from the database.
Before, it was much quicker to just delete the account and their posts.
We’ll be able to do that again someday.
But I found that these are dead bodies, not active as spammers. 95 % of the spam comes from account that were created in the last hours.
It seems the bot spammers forget their deads behind

Not every, but let’s say 98 % of these
And these are bots, because they often post in cyrillic, which about nobody here can read (as anybody can see if they are not a mindless bot). They are just annoying.

Someday is today. I finally got around to updating the board software and now it seems we can delete users again. So, everyone stay in line!

I tested with this one. HarryPacheco is hereby zapped from existence.....
