How near the edge of the roof are the Man in Whites? Or at least, the one with dust on his boots.

The Men In White are standing side by side on one of the higher platforms. You are closer to the edge than either of them, but you'd still need to move down a level to get right at the end of the roof and the beginning of sweet, sweet open space.

I don't know why it is, but I keep snickering at the appellation 'Man In White'. Reminds me of this Jasper Fforde book I have, I think it's 'The third bear'.

I was going to post, but please, give me some numbers first. How far in ft am I from a roof's edge? How tall in feet is the building? 20ft, 30ft or more?
I'm considering a jump down, so that is crucial information.

Well, yes, ok... but it's Marais de Tarascon too... When I last needed that village, it had about 300 people and from all the descriptions I read (this game included) it seemed like an untended backwater village. It was hard to picture a magnificent church of any kind there. In fact, I don't have a mental image right now of how the temple looks like at all.... Sometimes I see a church, but the flat ceiling actually makes me think of a barn somehow
