My apologies, but my next post probably won't be until tomorrow. I have game-night today, and unlike last week, I actually want to make it there this time. ^^

Technically, I think driving a coach would take a Profession check, but under the circumstances I'm going to accept Dex. checks if anything unexpected happens while you guys are driving. If things stay calm, you should be fine just acting out the drivig. ^^

My apologies for the delay. The last two days have kicked my butt. I'm more than a little beat; will try to post tomorrow.

@Ken : I think mine are well ok. I will be posting like that , the language bit, until Rock tells me Goren speaks Souragnien fluently.
Yes this is a real good game!
@Rock : Yeah we had a lot of snow here in MOntreal as well. Glad for my winter tires and the money I spent on our snow removal for

Hi there, Rock,
just to be sure on a couple of things:
Rock wrote:
As you all take in the building, you realize that the façade has been carved with various symbols and pictures that tell stories. Prominent among the stories is one of a great goddess with a kite shield and silver sword, who spreads the folds of a great, gray cloak over the Loah, who gaze earnestly at the world beneath the goddess' feet.
Zumba may recognize many of those symbols as being the vévé associated with the good and kindly Loah of Souragne.
Does it look like Ezra has subdued the loahs, or that she has taken them under their wing? Does it seem Ezra and these loahs share the same outlook or that they have opposite agendas?

The earthen path leading up to the Temple's front door is probably covered with moss, grass and small wildflowers during more clement times, and it is flanked by small statues of and altars to the Loah.
My emphasis... is there a word missing or is there a word too many? As I read it, it could be "statues of Ezra and altars to the Loah", or simply, "statues and altars to the Loah", with very different implications.
Although I guess what the answers are, as the rest of the description leads to total syncretism of the two religions.
I'd like to point out that Zumba is not going to the temple, but he is probably near enough to see the whole scene, isn't it?

Ail: It looks like the Loah are 'under Ezra's wings', so to speak; both the goddess and the spirits are facing in the same direction (ie. at people approaching the Temple), they're not opposed to each other or fighting.
The statues and altars leading up to the Temple are all dedicated to the Loah. Not very significant ones at that; these are extremely local specimens. Zumba can see all of this without any difficulty, but he won't be able to see what's inside unless he steps in. ^^
Did I forget anything or leave anything unclear?

I do not expect many posts this weekend, but I do wish you all happy holidays. If you're not the type to enjoy the holidays, enjoy your time off
