...I'm not sure of that. Carroll's novels were weird, certainly, but I don't think he set out to write them as 'tainted' places.
And yes, taking that into account, a /tainted/ Wonderland would be even darker than the original.
Hm. Would Looking-Glass Land (Alice Through the Looking-Glass) be the same place as Wonderland, or a separate realm in its own right? (And would anyone be in a position to /want/ to make a distinction?)
