Lyssa/Trinity Albaugh is a split-personallity that inhabits two bodies.
She began life in the domain of Barovia, the daughter of a wealthy landowner.
Her father was an abusive father, taking his aggressions out on her on a nightly basis.
To cope with this abuse her psyche split: around her parents she was a meak and timid girl, alone she was twisted and
aggressive, torturing helpless forest animals and possible the neighbor's pets (this hasn't been proven...).
Finally one evening, during a particularly severe beating, her aggressive side had had enough. In a scream of rage and pain Trinity ripped free of the shackes of Lyssa and attacked her father. Her aggression was given life by the Dark Powers and she slew her father gleefully, while Lyssa watched from within in horror. Soon after the young woman was pulled into the mist, and deposited in two different places.
Lyssa is currently traveling in Mordent. She has to conscious memories of who she is besides name and knows nothing of Trinity. Trinity is trapped in a private pocket domain, consisting of the family estate and some of the surrounding lands. She is fully aware of her alter-ego's whereabouts at all times. Should one of them die, the other will be slain as well, though neither is aware of this. There is no pain-sharing, however. The only 'cure' is to get them to tough one another.
The two girls share a neutral alignment, though Lyssa is NG and Trinity is NE.
Trinity is fully aware of her powers as a sorcerer, but Lyssa only utilizes these abilities in times of stress.
