Written by Captain Raoul Dumont, the Pirate's Pleasure[1] was the theatrical play performed on La Demoiselle du Musarde. The Pirate's Pleasure was a musical production. Strangely, only the music of this production was only ever sung upon the ship, and only by the actors. This is because the Pirate's Pleasure was also part of an elaborate magic put upon the ship to strengthen its protections and wards, both from keeping Dumont's slaves from getting free and keeping trouble out. The songs of the play incorporated certain arcane phrases to help build the magic.
