Pasques Massacre

The Pasques Massacre was the seminal event for Ghastria's formation as a domain ( or perhaps an oubliette, since Marquis Stezen d'Polarno was not yet a complete darklord). It occurred on Pasques, previously a Ghastrian holiday, feast, and festival. in 584 BC, the marquis poisoned King Oderic and his family at the feast, causing them to perish. Between this mass murder and the one following on its first anniversary, Pasques is now known not as a day of celebration but rather a day of dread.
