Also known as death spirits, Grim Reapers are creatures with direct ties to the Demiplane of Dread who, like their famous visage, appear as s robed skeleton with a scythe. However, they are invisible to everyone save to the nearly dead or those able to detect invisible creatures. Some theories depict them residents of the Negative Energy Plane, whereas others portray them as the minions of some sort of power native to the Land of Mists itself. In any case, grim reapers feed off the energies of a dying individual, and it is claimed that a speak with dead spell will allow communication with them. Despite these characteristics, they are not undead nor are they evil.^[1]
