From the Shadows is the fifth module of of the Grand Conjunction series. However, due to the meddling of Azalin, the 6th Verse of Hyskosa's Hexad comes to pass before the 5th. (The 5th Verse of Hyskosa's Hexad comes to pass in Roots of Evil, the follow up adventure to From the Shadows.[1] Both From the Shadows and Roots of Evil take place in 740 BC.[1]
In From the Shadows, Azalin sends the decapitated PCs back in time to the Wedding of Sergei and Tatyana to change the history of Barovia.
