The Ba'al Verzi is an assassins' guild that reach far back into the history of Barovia. Recently, they have made Teufeldorf the base of their operation.
Dread Possibility
The Ba'al Verzi has been reinvigorated by the nosferatu Nicu Moldonesti, who seized control of it and has enslaved many of its master assassins in 673 BC following two or more unsuccessful attempts on his "life". Under his leadership the organisation steers clear of Count Strahd von Zarovich, and would neither accept a commission for his "life" nor would accept a commission from him for the life of another.
