Alleya was the wife of Jandi and mother of Sheneya. Before Sheneya was born, Alleya and Jandi were traveling adventurers and performers from the land of Zakhara. In their travels, they eventually met Hister, whom tempted them with the secrets of snake charming. Hister wanted in return to sire a child in Alleya. Not knowing the old man's inhuman nature, Alleya and Jandi agreed. The secrets they learned made them successful. However, with with the birth of Sheneya, Alleya became poisoned and died. Jandi was convicted of her murder and executed, leaving Sheneya to be raised by Hister.[1]
