History

As the high priestess of Athena in homeland on the Material Plane, the Voice of Athena led a clergy responsible for issues of education, including keeping the elite educated but letting the general masses only know enough such that they could understand their masters and the laws of the state.[3]. She was feared and respected not only for her intllectual and political power but also because of the rumors regarding her practing dark and forbidden magic. When the Seven Voices met to conspire against the rebel leader the common people nicked named "Hercules", Athena suggested a foul ritual to bind an evil extraplanar entity and command it to wipe out the rebel army. The Seven Voices later performed the ritual, but Hercules' interruption caused a mystical backlash that brought all present to the Demiplane of Dread[4].
