Good one. I'm not even trying. That would require a nat 20. Raen is all too willing to break into Flammarion's later and do it properly.
Also, he's very concerned and tries to keep it cool for the Graveyard keeper.

If I understand correct, the screams are coming from the city, carried by the wind, right? It's not someone close that is being eaten alive, right?

It's not so easy for Raen to figure out the distance of the source.
Not just out of sight.
But it could be several blocks or quite a lot further.
Wind does funny things with sound, sometimes, and the weather has not been
normal lately...
