Okay, it's been maybe fifteen minutes of game time with the party cautiously snooping about the stairs but not actually going down into the cellars/dungeon and leaving the upper Bastion.
No evidence of traps or the immediate presence of foes.
What are you guys doing now?

Klokulf has +5 in Knowledge (Arcana), +8 in Knowledge (Religion), and +10 in Spellcraft, if any of those would help him remember where he heard this chanting.
Either way, he will repeat the litany to the others as best he can to get their input.
He would have retreated up the stairs to cast clairaudience, since he left his holy symbol up there.
