Dalorna and Arnulf

As the morning mists of Marsember are coming in they don't t seem to burning off with the dawn as Dalorna and her brother Arnulf are caring out a early morning errand for their uncle by taking a package to the Shrenan Brothers shop . The mists just seem to be getting thicker with rising of the sun . As they are wondering what is going a blood curdling shreik pierces the air all around .

Alia
As Alia goes to get some morning breakfast on her way out of town . She notices that the morning mists of Marsember are not disappearing with the sun but seem to just becoming more thick and clingy by minute as she looks around for safe place to step into out of this clingy fog she hears a wailing of a crying mother she could swear it to be .

Sara

As Sara steps on the road to high adventurer she gets more than she bargained for as a hungry pack of wolves moves to attack her during the predawn hours . But just as the wolves are about to encircle her and the riding horse someone gave her as a going away present . The mist around her seem to envelope them . And she ceases to hear the baying of the wolves as they are coming in for the kill, but hears some thing entirely more strange as she hears no sound at all .

Isidar

As Isidar goes to meet her traveling companion(Dolorna) of the last few days . She spots her just a few yards away . She is wondering when the morning mists of Marsember will burning off with the sun . Just then she see's Dolorna and a boy that seems to be traveling with her become swallowed by mists right before her stunned eyes and disappear into nothingness .

Professor Aumnoir


As Aumnoir prepares for a another day of fruitless research on his personal problem he came to Marsember to get help with . As he finishes his packing of his stuff for travel to another town for help he is startled out of his thoughts on where to go next the scream of a child crying for his mother . As he goes to see where this is coming from he notices that the a strange mist has invaded the Inn he has been staying . As he looks around to try to figure what is going on he notices that he seems to be feeling better than he has in days . As quickly as the mists came they disappear into the morning air . As the Professor looks around he notices that he is on a dirt road some how .

Alia looka a little puzzledly at the mists that swirl around her, then shrugs.

"I swear, the weather in this chill place gets worse every day. But I suppose if you burn the temple of the God of Dawn, dawn isn't going to be nice..."

She yawns, and gazes into the swirling mists, taking a few hesitant steps forward, trying to identify the source of the crying

"err...ma'am? Are you alright? do you need help?"

Moving mostly by ear, she tries to locate the crying woman

Sara has never seen mists so close, of course she has heard of them and what strange things may happen if someone get lost in them . But for now is more than happy the pack of wolves disappeared than worry about what will happen when the mists will clear.

Hoping that the mists haven't actually affected her but only the wolves, she draws her 2 guns and looks around.

Dalorna-

''Whoa! What was that? Is someone in trouble?''

Grabbing Ovina's halter, Isidar moves toward Dalorna asking, "Where is that screaming coming from? Stop playing in the mists and let's go find the child."

Arnulf - "Let's go see", Arnulf tells his sister in a his squeeky voice. He moves off in the direction of the shriek, hand on the hilt of scabbard... other at his dagger.

Dalorna starts to follow Arnulf, but then pauses and says-

''Hey, where is Isidar? I just heard her voice- but now I cannot see her through this fog....''

As Isidar tries to ask her friend about the scream . Dalorna does not seem to hear her though . As she goes toward were her friend was, she feels sand and water on her feet . As she looks around for her friend she spots her about 60 feet away . In the distance she see's a small village with a few fishing boats tied to a make shift peer . As she seems to be on a sandy beach of some type of a sea or an ocean perhaps . As she looks into the water she see's the sun rise .

As Dalorna asks her brother about her friend see's that it has suddenly become dawn . And the siblings are on a dirt track leading out on to a beach .

As Alia turns to look for the source of the crying the mists are finally burned off by the sun rising on a small village that she see's that the cry is coming from .

As Sara readies her pistols for action she hears the sound of water close by as the mists finally recede from around her . That the mists did affect her as she is not the road any more, but on a sandy beach with her horse sniffing at the unfamiliar salt air . In the distance(about 100 yards) she spies a small village .
