Some random generators I found

Dire Press has weather generators, world map generators and more. The name generator is especially good, as it allows you to choose names from various cultures, such as Italian names, Aztec names, etc.
Squid.org has a lot of good random name and idea generators.
Philip Riley's homepage is an archive of an older site, but you can still use the assorted random name generators there. Many different ethnic names are included.
Yafnag tends to generate names with a pseudo-Celtic sound, but it gives you control of the number syllables, what letter you want the names to start with, etc.
