Alain looks to be very frustrated as he surveys the room full of empty coffins.
"What is the meaning of this..."he mumbles under his breath.
"We need to find out who or what is doing this to us." He says as he looks to the group."Whatever is is, means for us not to settle for long, as it keeps switching the scene."

Tavian will suddenly fall on the ground, holding his stomach...

As he opens his mouth, as if to regurgitate, you can see his mouth and the collar of his short covered with red, dried-up blood... Have those teeth in his mouth always been so sharp?

As Tavian kneels on the ground, you can barely make out through his coughing a weak, gargled voice.

"...help..."


Tavian does not attempt to stand up, but continues to writhe on the ground, hacking up blood and holding his stomach.

Izabela rushes to Tavians side, but not sure of how to help or what to do.

"Moorcroft, please help him!" she cries out.

She notices his sharp(er) than usual teeth...

George watches intently to see just how Tavian reacts to the Cleric's help. He will stay tensed and ready to fight or flee until he sees Tavian not harmed by the ministrations of the Cleric of a (hopefully, from the sound of the prayers) good god.

Suddenly, Tavian feels the pain gone... The other might realize that his spasms have stopped...

The ground beneath your feet begins to tremble...

One of the broken coffins is moving... Like if something tried to get out!

The place where you awoke...

Seeing the coffin move, and not being reassured by Tavian, George starts sidling to the right (towards the curly passage) with his back to the wall, trying to attract as little notice as possible.

"There is no way he can be a vampire!" Alain shouts to the party while pointing at tavian.
"It is yet another trick from whomever has been tormenting us since we arrived here. It is just not possible, it is yet another illusion!"
Regardless of Alain's bravado and his statement, he still wields his sword in his right hand.

Hearing the lurching sounds from the coffin, Tavian's head turns suddenly towards it. His face is covered with a look of horror, only adding to his frightening appearance.

Tavian's trembling hands struggle to grasp anything they can and his feet skitter across the floor. He reflexively grabs at Izabela, trying to pull himself to his feet.

He tries desperately to scream, but all that comes out are unintelligible gurgles and choking sounds as blood drips from his mouth.

Moorkroft kneels next to Tavian , leaning over him and pressing his holy symbol toward the man. ''If you can hear me clearly, I need you to lie still. '' He will attempt to check Tavian's pulse. If he feels no pulse, he'll immediately attempt to turn undead.If he does feel a pulse, he'll attempt to use his knowledge of healing to determine if that's Tavian's own blood he is coughing up, or something the man ingested.

Adrian has been silent through all of this, not knowing how to react. Perhaps Tavian is a vampire, it would explain his strange ability to channel energy blasts over and over again without tiring...

Adrian has stepped back a bit from the group, but as Moorkroft moves closer, Adrian's muscles tense up. As Moorkroft inspects Tavian, if Tavian makes any false move, even stifling a laugh as Moorkroft accidentally hits a ticklish spot, Adrian will jump over and pull Moorkroft away from Tavian, Adrian being overly cautious due to fear of an attack.

(Adrian has some healing skills but currently lacks the presence of mind to use them)

The coffin trembles more and more, jumping up and down like posessed by crazed, evil energy...

It moves so abruptly that it falls down from the small stone foundation it lied upon...

And the old, dry wood breaks with a dull sound...



























































































































































A pair of red eyes focuses on Tavian and Moorkroft...

And you hear a hissing sound, like from a snake...

Or a vampire...

















Or a snake-vampire...































































































A fat brown rat jumps out of the coffin's remains, look at you with utter disgust for disturbing the quietness of its home, then sniffs and retreats into a hole in the wall...

Upon seeing the small furry creature, Tavian's eyes roll to the back of his head and he passes out. He is completely worn out from the excitement and his wounds.

Moorkroft looks up from his patient and says" He has a fever, and his pulse is quickened . I cannot say for certain whether this blood is his, or something he drank , and has coughed up...''.

The noise and motion from the coffin draw his attention just then...

When the rat jumps out, he lets out a sigh of relief. Noticing that Tavian has passed out, he turns the man on his side[lest he vomit again, and choke on the blood].

He continues his examination till he is satisfied the unconcious man has no other injuries and has been treated as well as he can be, given the circumstances.
