Staunton Bluffs: What Remains...

Somewhere in the not-too-distant future.
Joshua van Richten had travelled more than a month southwards when he arrived at his destination. A burned down hut - a former inn, maybe, somewhere on the rough jungle frontier between Valachan and Sithicus.
I might very well be the first person in twenty years who visits this place, he thought while he dismounted and neared the ruined cottage.
Even before he saw him, he knew that the horned shadow was there, waiting for him, just as he had foreseen it.
Time, had his uncle said so often, is meaningless for those who have taken the way of the damned.
"I am here. Now teach me like you promised" and the young scholar shivered inspite of the warmth of the Valachan sun.
And indeed, for a moment, the glowing in the red eyes of the shadow seemed to have ceased, and it was all like if humanity found her way back into the fiendish servant for one second more.
Then, the shadow began to speak, and whispering and hissing, he teached young Joshua of the horrors that were so long gone, and yet, with every of the demon's words, seemed more lively and more vivid again...
Those who get lost or die in their quest to save Staunton Bluffs will be remembered here. Although I as the Referee reserve the right to update and change the list according to the campaign's course, you'll
be allowed to post your own commentaries as well as your records of memorable gaming moments there.
