Merry Christmas, Hannukah and everything else which brings peace and happiness!

Patrick

PS: Barbarossa!
I assume you are talking about the Holiday tree in Toronto? If that wasn't the stupidest... sigh...

Boccaccio Barbarossa wrote:The joke is that many north americains that do not celebrate Christmas have become very sensitive (not many, but enough) that they take that as a paersonal insult. Like "What about HOLIDAY X?" They feel that because they celebrate a particular holidy and one person does not wish them a happy (insert right holiday) it's bad.
Actually I thought the joke was that a certain group of "Christians" (and I use the term loosely) have decided that imitating Christ (as per 1 Corithinians 11:1) means having a giant [obscenity] martyr complex and claiming that they are being persecuted in a country that only has roughly 80% of its population consider themselves Christian in some form.

Since board activity is slowing down before Xmas as usual, I'll add my wishes now so that it is seen by most.

Merry Xmas to everybody. Remember to take time with those you love, this is what the holidays are about (it's not the size of the gift that matters :) )

Peace on Earth!

Merry Christmas and blessed be your (belated) Yule Tide.

On the note of not being able to say Christmas, I don't know if any of you know or are fans of Foamy the Squrriel, but I figured this skit was appropriate for the topic.
Foamy's No Christmas for you!
BTW, this isn't appropriate for work.

I'm terribly sorry to post again, but I just thought of this was I was having some lunch.

"You better not stay
You better not scry
you better not steal
I'm telling you why
Azalin Rex is comin, to town.

He sees you when your sleepin,
He knows when your awake,
He's master of all the undead
so don't die for goodness sake,

ooohhhh

He runs the Kargat
He's checking them twice
They're tellin him if your
Naughty or Nice.

Azalin Rex is comin, to town."
