What I got so far:
People came to the manor, went to the dinning room, started eating. Then Van Rijn came to the podium, complained that the fraternity is an ungrateful bunch of illusionists and then he sawyed and fainted (hopefully, perhaps he is dead).
Have I missed anything important? I mean except of the plot, any important IC dialogs between the PCs?
For the most part the expansive posting in the Grand Entrance was introductions and discussion but the key highlights were the arrivals of van Rijn and Lord Balfour de Castelle.
Then the events in the Dinning Hall occured...

When things start heating up I'll post a longer summary.

OOC: Gert hasn't missed Hazan's admission to prior knowledge. She's just caught up in the much more urgent matters of the moment.

She's saving it for further consideration...and who knows, blackmail? :P

Remarkable, indeed.

OOC: how many men in black are surrounding van Rijn- I mean, those NOT of the Fraternity? :P

At least 30-40, plus Van Rijn, plus the members of the Fraternity you recognize as such.

Similar number on the other side.

Thank you!
The occasional cry of a woman is heard in the Drawing Room, punctuated by sighs from Gertrude.
Is her exasperation that obvious?

Well, I figured this did fit well with your character :)

Do you want me to change my post and make you slap them to calm them ?

She'd be tempted, I must admit, but she does have an image to uphold...

The way I see it, it's a large round table, with an overture near the grand entrance hall.

But you can assume the tables could be moves in the confusion, if you want to do something :)

Eek! I'm going to supper soon and won't be back for an hour at least! Could you dear DM's please move Gertrude about for me in that time if necessary?

*bats eyelids* Pretty please? :P

That isn't the Gertrude I know.

Are you controled?

She's capable of having a sense of humour.

Sort of.

And know she's not controlled. At least not by me, bloody stubborn woman...

LOL! This is getting good! Guess I'll spend the intermission snooping into what other posters have been saying while I was asleep and then waiting 3 hours at a supermarket to finally get a flu shot (they only had 100 shots worth, and I was second in line ... but that's the third place I'd tried, and I teach so I need them).

Feel free to put obnoxious comments in Crow's mouth while I'm browsing other posts, if things start up before I get back to the Dining Hall. ;-)
