Fearsome Fables

Hi Guys,

I would like to announce the revival of an old idea. This issue of Quoth the Raven is without a theme, however, that does not mean that we cannot compile articles with themes.

I would like to announce a call for additions to an article: fearsome fables.
This article will collect monsters and stories from many authors - creating a compendium of folktales and the creatures that spawned them (or by them...).

Therefore, to wet some appetites, here is a link to the first addition:

Enjoy!

ScS.

I have a few ideas for this project, if time (and privacy) allows, I will get something done for it :)

I'll do some thinking and see what I find.

I could work with this, I believe.

^Drools^

And I just a couple of weeks ago posted a thread about twisted perversions of disney tales.

What do I have to pay to write for this?

^dances to gleefully now that his 'happy stories' will see light^

You've just ruined my study habits today.

Ok, I even have a picture for my twisted plaything of a Rumplestiltskin! Where do I send them?

You could send them to any member of the fraternity,

for instance, myself - stephen@fraternityofshadows.com

However, there's no telling when they will be published. This idea was for QtR 12, and it recieved no responses.

The link was taken out because Fearsome Fables was published in QtR 12 under the name Grim Tales.

I could put it back up if you think it would help shake up the creative juices.

No, not at all- my lovely hubby downloaded and printed the last journal so I can sit at my leisure and read the work, and see if I can help add anything to it.

Beyond that, it's a good way to encourage everyone else to check out the QotR if they already haven't. :)

No responces? I send two myself ScS. The visitor and the Tower. I also believe that both the dwarves and halflings and the art sent also fall under this category. Add to this the Grim tales and here it is! More than half the netbook was about legends and the monsters (races) that spawned them.

No, QtR recieved pleanty of submissions, it was the Fearsome fables article idea that didn't recieve any.
The Tower was a full on out adventure, so that could not have been part of the article.
