Well, to get this thread back on track, I'm currently looking at doing two articles under the Freezing Fear theme:

First, I am thinking about writing a Ravenloft-based variation on an old ghost story.

Second, I have an idea for a MotRD article that would be based in the cold nether regions of Northern Wisconsin.

Wow, time flies fast...
I'd better get started. I'm a fast writer but my new job kills my free time.

Well at least I managed one Masque article. Submitted it months ago.

I better start thinking of a submission for the next Quoth the Raven. I think it shall be about the qabal known only as PRIME (the name from the Gothic Earth Gazetteer). Maybe even a villian.

Excellent! We could always use some more Masque articles for Quoth the Raven. I don't know if we'll get enough to ever do a full MotRD issue, but it is great to have more submissions.

PRIME would be pretty good, but please review Quoth the Raven issue #3. It had a good review of PRIME in there as well.

To do a full Masque issue would be easy. Simply take some of the better articles made so far (the extra gun rules would be a definite) then increase the submission date to 9 months and write as desired.

I've just read the entry for PRIME and find it not to my tastes (to large in scope without enough story/fluff for me). However as it has been done maybe I shall simply rename the qabal and not tread on other's toes.

I have also been contemplating writing a story for Masque though it would walk a fine line between comedy and good taste in the Gothic world. Comedic stories are so difficult to write.

If I get all the MotRD articles I am working on done, those would fill about half an issue on their own, lol.

Project Updates
War of the Worlds: Still in the planning phase. I have the war machines, cylinders, red weed, some influential characters, the Thunderchild, British artillery, sample soldier/artillery man, time line of the invasion, and so other things outlined, but not fully written up. But those pesky martians are proving to be really bothersome, grrrr... I am also short of ideas for the Journalist (I want to include something on him) and some newspaper articles from the invasion. The article at the moment (in note form) is some 20 pages in length (told oyu it was gonna be big :P) and fully written may well be double that!

Dorian Grey: Trying to work out how he could have fallen under the sway of the Red Death and remain a servant to this entity without realising his fall form grace.

Sisters of the Night: Two of the sisters are complete, just need to work out the background of the third to round her off (this is another long article).

Graf Orlock: I've got sidetracked, oops. It will happen though, I promise!

Varney the Vampire: Also pushed aside for now in favour of other articles.

Jekyl & Hyde: I've not made much of a start on it.

The choise is completely up to you, my friend. I just wanted you to be conscious of the fact that PRIME had been covered in a previous issue. We certainly allow for different versions of the same concept, but we would want different version (versus rehashing the same thing).

Oh it would be different. Highly different.

Can the Fraternity confirm my article 'The Monoliths' has not been misplaced and lost in the time since its submission (way back when the project was first announced)? Cheers.

Due to a lack of submissions, this deadline for this issue is being increased to March the 20th.

Please be aware that if we don't recieve some more articles, the issue will be cancelled.
