Have you received Pyro the eternal Flame? I still have Drefius and can resent him, but Pyro has been erased from the Computer.

This is wonderful. And, it is exactly the type of thing that I was hoping to get back into with my return here.

People of the Fraternity... I assume you are still accepting submissions? I'd like to contribute a little something of my own, now that I have the time to devote to a project like this...

Proposals are open until January 31st (or whatever the last day of January is, I forget), then we select which ones we will accept as full articles and notify the respective authors.

So far we have:

2 Ancient Dead
1 Construct
1 Lich
1 Vistani

Keep them coming ! About 20 days to submit your proposals!

ARGH! So few?! Nooooooooo!

Here's hoping that there's a bunch of creative folks out there, sitting on their ideas, and this will spark everyone into action. 'Cause NO WAY do I want this project to fall to the wayside.

I implore you brilliant, creative people....give your evil life! LIVE, DAMN YOU, LIVE!!!!!!!!

Do you know how hard it is to use a difribulator on the undead?

I'm not panicking as of yet: most entries come in the last days.

Indeed. I'm hoping to have mine finished by next week. I'm just having some mechanics issues that need to be resolved before I submit it.

My ideas for the CotN have accidentally taken a back seat for me to work on my QtR submissions. Plus I have no idea how I would write an adventure short enough, lol.

I have a few ideas I'm struggling with, and one is a little different from the LCotN format:

I'm looking to make an article on vistani tribes. It would be a 'generic' vistani tribe, on which a DM could add a 'template' to one of the seven big families, i.e. Naiat, Zarovan, etc. complete with feats, skills, and other abilities appropriate for each tribe.

The idea is to make a quick 'vistani' tool for DMs.

With an adventure, of course :)

They sound interesting. Any chance you could provide a tidbit or three about what you might possibly be covering for this?

I can admit that one of the ideas I have come up wit hand struggling with is a Black Witch based on the PrC I produced a little while back. But it is the details as to what he/she would be doing that is frustrating me. I know what the character is meant to be doing it, but not how they got into that position or how they would do it.

And ummm... My other ideas are a vampire, a werebeast and a hag undergoing the change ;)

All of them are frustrating the hell out of me, but I wanted to work on proposals for a few things and then pick which I thought was the best. Yet none of them are getting finished, I always have this problem when I plot out an article on just one page before I write it in full, lol. I normally take up several pages with notes and then flesh it all out :P

Yes, I find it extremely frustrating to squeeze not only a complex background, but a complex present and a complex adventure into one page. It's horrible to have so many ideas you have to cut for space, I think that a lot of the character gets lost this way :(
