Problem posting to threads, "No New Posts"

Lately, I have posted comments on two separate threads. Both labeled "Popular". But after making the posts, the header doesn't change. It's still labeled "no new posts [popular]". I have contacted the Frat about this problem, thus far they are stumped also. Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, this problem needs a little more explanation.

Are these posts showing up on the thread? Or, are they not showing up?

Which template are you using to view the forum? The default? Chronicles?

You seem angry with me. I'm sorry, maybe I am making a bigger thing out of this than necessary. But the symbol at the far left of the thread line. The little skull that means 'no new posts' or the little fire place thing that means 'no new posts [popular]' have not been changing to 'new post'. At least not for me. Maybe it's just my computer. I guess it isn't a big deal to those who read all the posts every couple of days. But that's the thing I look at first. I'm sorry. Wiccy said I should drop a line on the trouble shooting msg board. See if anyone else has any ideas.

I think its just the server updating itself every few days. It happens to me every three days or so and its not just this board but any Powered by phpBB boards like the wizards.com boards

Err... For your info, if ScS was angry, you would not doubt and know he is :)

;)

I know the thingy work weirdly sometimes, like marking as 'read' thing I didn't read.

I guess the multi billion bucks we spend on boards wasn't enough :D

No, I'm not angry at all. I suppose my post was a little brusk. Heh, its funny how hurried writing sounds so much like angry-writing.

Thank you all (Jasper o' nine lives, Joël of the Fraternity, ScS of the Fraternity) for your kind reassurances. I won't take it personally.
As for the phpBB Powered boards, I think you might be on to something. I'm on a Realms of Intrigue board powered by that and it seems to be doing the same thing there. Maybe it's something with them that just doesn't like me. I haven't checked any of the other boards I'm in lately to see if they're doing the same thing and powered by this phpBB. I never noticed really. Maybe I should start paying more attention to that. I only seem to pay attention when they bring up 50 popups or redirects me to 20 different sites that I didn't want to go to.
Thanks again all,
Hadis

Happens to me on occasion. Have to just grin and bear it, I guess.

Or go on a psychotic wedgie spree.
