Dadrag could be calling it out however; after all, Dorothea can't exit the room in less than a second.

Nope. It is just that as a Richemoulotease he doesn't like to share info.

Exactly.Dadrag has said "wait", Dorothea has for sure heard him. If she has gone out anyway, Dadrag would have followed her and told her the same things outside.

Yes you're right on that account. Except for game purposes she makes it to the door very fast. If she did hear you she doesn't acknowledge your words. I'll post to the fact that Dadrag does exit and catch up to her, though he will have a hard time keeping up with her hee hee!

Howdy all. I cannot help but notice that...wow, it's been a long time since anyone posted. This is mostly my fault, I think, but it does seem enthusiasm has waned across the board. With the holidays and all that's not unexpected, of course, but I would like to know who's still following and hoping to play.
The bodyguards are in a bit of a fix, of course, since at present their hook is by no means obvious. I do have something in mind for you guys to do, but it relies on getting to a certain point in the other thread first to really get rolling, so it may take a little while yet.
Observations, questions, comments on the state of game play?

I only got back from vacation two days ago, and I'm fighting a nasty cold at the moment, but I'm certainly still game for the game.

I'm still willing to play, but this is the slowest game I've ever been in. Could we try to have a rule about posting once a week? I do have a hard time posting if it's been three weeks or more since the last post; it gets to be a nuisance to have go and read back what's happened because I've practicially forgotten.
I would also suggest asking the bodyguards players if they'd consider playing Frat members instead. They could still play their bodyguards if they want but at least they'd be directly involved in the action, and it would also give more opportunities for interaction (ie posts) in the Frat threads themselves. As it now stands, you've only got three regular players doing Frat members (I haven't seen Moral here in ages), and one new one who's still waiting for something to do. That's not enough players for the main storythread.
This is of course assuming that all the others still want to play.

Nathan if I do play a Frat member, I'd like to play Helmut.

I want to keep Dadrag and I don't mind if we play rarely.
About Pam's idea, to get Frat members, I cannot do it right now. I play in 2 games every day and I don't have much free time to play another PC.

And what we have is...lack of consensus! Not too surprising for an FoS party, I suppose.
O.K. Let's try this: Everyone who's interested in continuing as an FoS member, pick or make a character. Bodyguards, we may come back to you later if there's interest in it, but it may be a while; in the meantime, if you want to keep participating, you can either make or adopt an FoS member. Everyone who's in, please post once a week or more.
Sound good?

Sounds good to me.
Another idea to consider is that when someone can't post (vacation, illness, the usual ups and downs of real life), that they contact you (or possibly one of us, but that's hard since most of the characters have secrets and plots) to play for them for that week or so. That way the game keeps flowing.
If, however, you find that half your players are always gone, then it might be time, Nathan, to decide if you're willing to continue, since you're playing half the team, so to speak.

Nathan, when you have something for the bodyguards please send me a PM or write it here, because I don't follow the thread "La Maison De Soulombre" with the Frat members.

As I already have Helmut Jurgens made because of Dorothea well, I'll be playing him.

OK, I'll do that, VAN.
For everybody else--I think four is a bare minimum for going on with--we need a certain "critical mass" for posting enough to keep everyone's interest. It looks like we have Pamela, Roti, and tarlyn on board; how 'bout eocine? alhoon?
