its been about 20 mins since the original scream. An hour before sunset sounds fine.

Are there any barracks in Brighton or a place where Terik can find guards?

Terik is still shaken and for now hasn' t thought that he left his companions dead at the trail where animals might eat the rest of them but will think of that when he calms down.

Not necessarily shoving past people, just kind of shouting that they should move so I can get through to the body.

There is a sherrifs station in town, along with several guard houses. Finding a member of the city guard is easy inside town. A garrison of soldiers from the capital is stationed about a mile outside of town along the road.

When he can (depending on the save I guess) he will head toward the sheriff's office but if he finds a guard first will tell him but ask anyway to see the sheriff.
