If you have Read magic as spell you can just use that to decipher a spell instead of using a Spell Craft roll . The only time you would use a spell Craft is to convert it to your Prayer book in your case BBQD . So since you are not completely familiar with how prepared spell casters learn new spells and your character is smart and knows all 0-level clerical spells and read magic is one of them so he would use it to decipher any spell he encountered instead of the random chance of a Spell Craft check . Lets say you did learn what all the spells were on the scrolls with the use of read magic . Since it would be the smartest course to take by your character . And I will give you the convert roll as a success so you could prepare that spell the next after having learned and transcribing it into your Prayer Book . The longer version of the spell is just the same spell, but made up using a metamagic feat to make it last longer is all . So there would be no need to convert/learn as that will destroy the scroll so saving it for future use would be the best use of it .


Also BBQD please send me a list what spells you found on the scrolls to remind me what I gave you . It looks like you have already used read magic to know what was on the scrolls so there is no need for to even use it for that day any way .

Ok, here is a sum up: It takes 5-6 hours walking time to get to the cave. If we want to go today then we have to pay Al, if not, then we wait 5 days until his day off. The trading spells is btwn Dalorna and Ping, I believe, so that would have to happen in the village. I don't know how long it will take the professor to decypher and trascribe the spells. I agree that Dalorna should begin the haggling and Sara, Isidar, and Alia can jump in w/their expertise as needed. Characters seemed to want to get out of this village because of a lack of trust of Ping. But, Isidar will stay for the 5 days if everyone else wants to. She just wants everyone to make up their mind and get the action going. Isidar will not try to convert villagers through discussion, but see if she can repair anything (focusing on metalwork) for them and talk about how Gond is a god of action, as she repairs things.

I prefer not wait 5 days if we can avoid it. But if Dalorna needs more time to trascribe her spells we can wait.

Also it may take more than a few days for Huln to transcribe the divine spells he found in the scroll case . At the most it will take Huln the next three days to convert them into his prayer book . He already knows what they are except for few he just discovered but he can decipher them with a read magic spell easily enough to convert them over the next few days .

Alia will go along with whatever the majority decide, though she is rather puzzled by their mistrust of Ping, which she does not share at all
