Alright so I've narrowed my Focus down to Rogue, Ranger or Magus.... <.< the first two I'd be covering stealth but I'm also kind of interested in the Magus class. Maybe i should roll my stats before selecting?
Edit: Figured I'm going to pick "Felix" as a name.
Possibly going to be a survivor of Falkovnia maybe or a resident of Darkon. Was probably going to go with his crime is real probably killed someone for revenge, or to stop a larger crime from happening. I'll come up with solid details later today. Still at work!
Edit Edit: Chimming back in here for more questions about creating a character. Your method is 4d6 drop lowest, but do I roll out 6 stats and then assign them? Or do I call out Str roll! and no matter what that's the strength and no switching around?
My group always rolls all the rolls then picks and chooses where to place. Still wondering if Magus is ok, think I'm going to play an Elven Magus weilding a Curved blade. Since it is a free action to let go and put a hand back on a weapon figured It'd be ok to work the class abilities like that.
let me know if it's not allowed however and i'll change it! I'll check back for the stat info later and then have someone outside confirm my rolls.

I think you should pick whatever class you are in the mood to play. It is ok if a couple of you guys play characters with similar roles. They could still have drastic differences in their personalities.
I'm also still waiting on my cousin Ryan and his girlfriend Marykate. They may fill in any party gaps somewhere down the line.
As to stats assign wherever you want. My friends and I do the same thing.

Alright Sounds good time to go roll them up and hope to the gods.... (oh crap ravenloft that's not a good idea) that I roll good. xD
Felix Alnaethor's Roll
STR 17, DEX 14, CON 14, INT 16, WIS 10, CHA 9
Got decent. Not happy about the 9 but it's not too bad. *shrugs*
Time to finish the sheet now! Btw it's in my sig if you haven't noticed!

A few, Just leaving work now and i'll be "brain storming" on the way home. Basically I want to say he killed someone to prevent a greater evil from happening. So he's guilty but he feels he did the right thing type of thing. Now I just need to figure out why he killed someone? I picked "Vanish" so he has a 1 round invisibility which I figure is how he managed to kill said person but obviously invisibility runs out when you attack so then he gets caught but at least had a shot to take said person out of picture.
Get back to you more soon. Also let me know if you have Skype

Easier to communicate that way. If you do my username is Zilferofshadows

This will make it easy. Just search for Jason O'Keefe on Facebook. I'm the one from Boston Massachusetts. In my picture I have a winter hat on and I'm smiling up close with my girlfriend. My girlfriend has a winter hat on too if that helps. My cover photo is of two black cats looking out a window.
Or....here is a link that should get you to my page.

Mat, by the way, if you are gonna make your elf 56 years old you should apply the young template [use the rebuild rules] from the Pathfinder Bestiary to him. Either that or make him 110 + 6d6 years old, or change him to a half-elf.
I think playing a pre-adolescent elf murderer could be pretty interesting though.
My brother made an Elf gunslinger that he intends to multiclass with a spell-slinging class at higher level. I think his elf is slightly more advanced in age than a normal 1st-level character would be.
It is still ok for you guys to repeat character classes as I said, but we should work out what would set these two fighter/mage elves apart and make them unique characters.

Hanz has been imprisoned for killing what he thought was a thief but in actuality they were just trying the shoes on to get a good walking in them, which is what the militia believed. Since being in Darkon he has worked in a Cobblers workshop, making shoes. He does have many elvish friends for some reason, but can not remember for the life of him where he is from, when he met them. He suspects he was born elsewhere, given he doesn't speak the native tongue, but does three others.
