"A-a-n agent? Me? B-b-ut I , oh my gosh." Comes the meek reply from Percy, who is half hiding half standing behind everyone.
When a bear is mentioned, she cringes in fear. "How, what is the name of.... me? Kill a b-bear?. I wouldn't even hurt a fly."
The ritual, however, interests her. "A ritual? Very interesting. What kind of ritual exactly? And this person was a good person in life?
I wonder how I would feel if I was brought back as a spirit?" These questions shoot out of her mouth quicker than she can contain them.

Tirso owes his life to Isolde. He would do anything she asked as long as it was within his ability. He is uneasy about getting involved with bears and wolves, but he does his best to hide this fear behind exaggerated gruffness.
"A bear is a powerful animal indeed, the likes of which could flay a man's flesh from his bones in minutes, but our minds are a distinct advantage. I've seen men take down large predators easily using clever traps. I suggest we devise something similar to catch us our bear and give ourselves the advantage over it, something efficient and ideally humane [Tirso looks to Percy as he says the word humane and he briefly smiles], for bears have been known to become angry spirits too. Percy your magic tricks could come in quite handy. [then he looks to the others and continues] Should our trap fail we will have to do it the old fashioned way. I've already been half eaten once before, why not test fate a second time?"

Percy blushes fiercely, looking at the ground. Her booted toe rubs the ground awkwardly. "M-m-me-e? I.. I .. guess I could trick a bear with an illusion. B-b-ut wait? How are we going to even find a bear?"

Valentin smiles slightly, his hidden eyes twinkling. "Tirso could track a chiri on a cloudy day, I'll wager finding a bear won't be much of a problem."
He turns to Tirso with a more serious look, "What would you need to build a bear trap?"

Tirso laughs loudly and says, "Just some shovels and at least a day of back breaking labor."

"You can count on me, the shield of Ezra will protect us I'm sure. Maybe we can use nets or dig a big hole at the ground and lure the bear to fall in there."

"Back breaking labor? Count me in!"
"We should probably do things in a certain order. Since the bear has to be killed and skinned within three days of the bonfire, why don't we do the other tasks first. We can pick up the wood and gather five witnesses. That way, we can start the ritual as soon as the bear is ready. If something happens and it doesn't work, maybe we will still have time for another attempt before we have to find another bear."
Valentin looks at Percy. "Boiros is probably going to be locked up with us fighting mangy wolves. Can you take care of the scroll part of the ritual?"
Valentin may never have talked to Percy as if she was a trusted adult. He does so now without hesitation. His tone is confident.

Tirso looks to Valentin and nods his head. "I agree with you my friend, but who will be are spokesman? We are not generally well treated outside of Carnival."

Percy blinks behind her thick spectacles and swallows nervously. Then the young woman smiles for once, usually of a serious manner.
"M-me? I would read the scroll? I would be more than honored! Yes, y-yes I'll do it."

Isolde says
"True enough, but sadly you will have to learn how to deal with it. Elves and dwarves have had to deal with that all their lives and you haven't had to deal with it until you got here. On the plus side it does make us a close knit group. "

Tirso looks down at his missing feet with shame. There was once a time when had feared the fey folk and did his best to avoid them.
"My Lady. I apologize. I will do my best.

"I suppose we'll find someone to speak for us when the time comes." His eyes blank for a moment, looking inward more than out. "Perhaps we'll choose the most normal visage."
He shakes his head slightly to clear away dark thoughts. "In any case, we can set a lost soul to rest and make the land safer. I'm ready when you lot are."

Boiros sighs, only few months ago he would have offered himself do teh talking, but now...his ears make him look funny and this wouldn't help. But at Isolde's words his face lightens up.
"You are right Lady, we need to face our fears. I think I speak for everyone here, we have a second chance and we are grateful for it. I can do the speaking if necessary, at least once I was good at that...If necessary I can wear a hat or a helmet so I cover my...my particular ears."

Tirso walks over to a nearby tree stump and retrieves the axe embedded within it.
"I can offer a cord of firewood to anyone who will humor Boiros and the rest of us with some friendly conversation about the sad spectre of Jezra."

"Face my fears..... face my fears..... face my fears..... mutters Percy to herself under her breath. "Yes ma'am," she replies steady enough to he lady Isolde. "I, uh, I can see if I remember reading anything about Jezra somewhere." Percy stops to think a moment about
her.
