Dexter takes a look over at Terik shrugging as he had been feeling for any sort of hand hold and he turns his shoulder as a brace. "Hey Terik, want to try and help me? Maybe we can get the door ajar if he push together. The Doors look heavy," said Dexter.

"Yeah I wouldn't count on my strength...Get back I will try something else."

Terik focuses at the door and waving his hands he chants in draconic.

OOC> HE casts open, the 0 level spell

Dexter backs up while his friend casts something on the door and he waits as if expecting something to happen to the door or something to jump out of it.

"I guess it didn't work," says Lin from the side lines. "Who would have made a door like this?"

Angelo paces back and forth in front of the door. Using his scythe as a walking stick he seems to be pondering about something. Dexter just shrugs putting a hand to his face thinking, though it's clear he probably will revert back to pushing the door here soon.

Terik scratches his head:

"Well I tried my thing...maybe try to unlock it."

Thinking for a minute he looks at the clerics and says:

"Or we have to use a password to open it. Maybe have to say a phrase in Draconic. Any ideas? I think this is more your area."

Taking a moment to look at the door, Tammerin figured there must be some kind of legend on this. In the mean time, he walked up to the door alongside Dexter, braced his whole body against it, and pushed.

After some thought Terik gets in front of the door and says:

"Maybe we need to say in Draconic that we are friends or that we want to enter to help."

With clear steady voice he exclaims in Draconic one word after another with few seconds pause between them:

"Friends, Help, Azalin Rex, Undead, Sun, Shadow, Death, Lord of Death, Life, Darkness, Mists".

Then he mentions all the Gods of Dead he knows.

Turning to the others says:

"You can say a word that you think can be the password and I will translate it."

It at first appears nothing was going to move the door. When Dexter and Tammerin began to push after about five seconds of trying it begins to move inward, but not just the door they are pushing but both doors open. The other side opens to a continuation of the bridge but it is made of the same material the door is.

Angelo looks at Terik a moment before proceeding through, a look of amusement was on his face if but for a moment. Lin doesn’t seem forthcoming with anything, but Dexter on the other hand mutters aloud, “Well I was rather hoping it wouldn’t open. So much for easy money. Let’s go take a look around.”

Unease grips most of the party as they pass forward into the swirling mist. As they approach the other side the mist begins to recede though vision beyond 60 feet starts to drop off rapidly still. The trees encountered here are difference from the ones you had seen prior. A small path leading from the bridge splits two ways a little further ahead. There is a two part sign with one part scratched out that points left. The one that points right says ‘Draken’.

“Any body ever heard of Draken before? That some kinda village or city?” asked Dexter. Lin shakes her head. “Never heard of any place like that in Darkon at least…”

Dexter turns to the rest of the party. “How about either of you two? For that matter which way do we want to go? Looks like the road to Draken is weathered more, possibly more traffic goes that way from what I can tell… as for the other way looks like it doesn’t get much use,” said Dexter as he seemed to be examining both ways.

Terik looks first right then left trying to decide where is better to go. HE also tries to remember if he has heard the word Draken before.

"I would prefer we head to Draken. People may be there and we can obtain information from them."

"Well, I don't know... Draken was rumored to be a town that was reclaimed by the Grey Realm. Most just thought it was made up in scripture in the Eternal Order, though some claim it used to be based off a real place. The Undead were said to have taken it back for the worship of a foreign god. It is usually placed where the Shadow Rift currently sits. So in few words this isn't the best place to be... But on the other hand at least it's a place I know something about when we have no idea what will be at the other sire."

The wizard looks again the sign and then sighs:

"Ok lets go there. I just hope we can find our way back..."

"That might be in our best interest," said Lin agreeing that information and a city would be preferable. Though Dexter continued to examine the ground for a moment longer.

"Something’s weird with the tracks. I can’t quite put my finger on it,” said Dexter as he stood up shrugging. “Either way I think we should be careful, we are in unknown parts and the people if it is a city will be unknown. We should have a story made up just in case they ask us why we are traveling together, unless your ok with saying that you came through a large black door with decorated undead, scenes of sacrifice and the like… I myself? I’d prefer a muddled down version.”

"What do you propose we say then?" asked Lin but Dexter didn't answer immediately instead looked at the group as if thinking of a story to come up with or waiting for someone else to think of something.

"You know, I don't think undead will be much interest about our story...they don't use to talk much...But if needed I think we should stick with the truth, the bridge got down, the door appeared and we are here to see what's going on. Sometimes make things simple is the best solution. As about the tracks, well we are within the mists who knows where, of course there is something wrong with them..."

"Ok, I'll let you do the talking Terik." said Dexter patting off the dirt off his hands and standing full again. "I guess we have a direction then."

"Actually Sentinel Angelo or Tammerik should do it since one is Eternal Order and the other, well a cleric that seems to know how to deal with undead as well... But yes if we need an excuse I will be glad to do it."

Angelo looks at Terik and then he shrugs. “He’ll stare at them until they no longer have any questions,” laughed Lin as they started down the path. "Yes, We'll lull them into a sense of safety and then sick Angelo on them." chimmed in Dexter.

Sentinel Angelo looked back for a moment down the other path as if deciding something and then follows behind the group walking in tow with his skull’s dangling from his ‘walking stick.’
