Round 2

Only two left in front of us. We may be able to take prisoners- if they surrender or we can KO them.

I may toss the club again, or maybe I'll just MH it around in a possible third round,to spook these guys/distract them while the party fights. So long as I can concentrate, I can keep it up.

Casting Mage Hand was my standard action for this, the second round of combat. Moving the club was my move action. I'm staying behind cover and peeking at the foes. I'll take a five foot step to avoid melee, if they get too close to my position. I may speak, if necessary ( free action).

PS- I really hope these dudes are actually evil- as we've been cutting them down without mercy. They did seize the kids, though...

I think you may be overlooking the pig, which might well be our most dangerous foe!

Sara moves normally not run, but tries to get cover if possible.

If you need new rolls for move silently and hide let me know LS.

When she finishes her move will take a good look around. Take 10 to spot so 14 total.

He might be a foe- but we'll see...he hasn't yet attacked us. It's possible that he won't attack- if we simply leave him alone, or maybe toss some tasty food to him.

To all it may concern the monkey men act on init 9 so if your character act's at close to the same time you can intersect their actions possibly .

To Van :
You would have roll two new rolls of Hide and Move Silently and they would be done at a -5 penalty . If you went any faster than normal speed it would be at a -20 penalty as per PHB .

Also when taking 10 it takes 10 times as long to do so as in 1 minute just standing their looking around OK :) .

By the way in 3.5 if you are fighting with two weapons if you take more than a 5 foot step then you can not attack with both of your weapons . And only get one attack that round unless you have a feat or class ability, etc. that allows your character to get more attacks some other way .

Also I may have not of made this clear in IC but the remaining monkey men are at least 10 feet or more away from all party members except for Isidar .

By the way Tarlyn I figure you would want to attack with both of your weapons so I took some creative license with how you would kill the monkey men that went for the Professor . They are dead by the way . As it says in the IC post the Remaining two Monkey men . of the six that came into your area .

So merely use Arnulf's first attack then. Anf If Arnulf has a +1 to damage then his total damage is 10 and not 8.

If you need a new initiative, here it is:

12 + 4 = 16? I think for Arnulf's dex? I am at work so I do not have access to Arnulf's sheet, sorry.

Ask ewan and Lord Skybolt about wild boar in his game. I so do not want us to even think about fighting a wild boar!! Our pc's are 4th level in that game and had trouble!

I agree with ewan, give it some food, heh! Maybe we'll get us a pet LMAO!

Sara moves with normal speed:

Move silently with modifiers and the penalty: 14

Hide with modifiers and the penalty: 21

If is ok I will not take 10 and will roll a normal spot because don't want to lose 1 min.

Spot: 15

We could feed strips of dead monkey-man to the pig, although perhaps I oughtn't say that, as my PC is highly unlikely to suggest it.

I say we kill the monkey men and find the children. That is what we are there for in the first place, to save the children. In Arnulf's mind, if we leave the boar alone, it will leave us alone. Of course, he knows diddly squat about animals cept perhaps fishies heh!

The pig will most probably run away, there is no point deal with it.

We'll see...Unfortunately if it goes for Huln, it will probably only take the one hit to take the healer out of the game. But it would be a somewhat memorable death :P

Lord Skybolt, there are only two monkey men now. Arnulf will use his attack on one, but try to put himself between monkey boy and the Prof if that is possible...........

Maybe the monkey-men will surrender?
Taking one prisoner?
