I'm using my Pinterest page for some image links now. It's faster than Photobucket, although I do plan to use PB again in the future.

You should obviously ignore the text and background in the historical romance novel cover. But that is what Elissa's first cousin Trea looks like.
Not so close as to actually be mistaken for Elissa by someone who knows both of them, but a stranger using a miniature portrait from a couple of years back and a verbal description could get the two mixed up. Same hair, same height, same eye color, similar dress, family resemblance. And, as Alfonse discovered by accident when he tried tracking Elissa by her shopping habits, they would of course both answer to "Lady Holbin."

I don't want to belabor this point, but I just want to make sure the PLAYERS are not confused about what happened or who this is.

Questions?

We have five players and five PCs.

Adam, playing ALFONSE
Van, playing TOM
Alhoon, playing FILD
Varrus, playing TITUS
Metaflux, playing LOWEN

Damien and Gertie are NPCs.

Zilfer had to suspend play because of real-life responsibilities. I think it's unlikely he will return to resume playing Damien anytime soon. I will therefore open another slot.
If Zilfer does come back, I can handle having a seventh player. If he does not, no problem there, either.

... necromancers ...

I hope that she means the people that read the future from the liver of an animal in that casual, blasé way. Not the people that disturb the peace of the dead as if they're the same as the random spellcaster.

Or those who speak with the dead...

I'll vote for summarizing, although, building story is just as important.

NOTE: At no point when Fild was making his appeal to Trea, he mentions or even insinuates that she has a duty to these people or the town, or that he is in any position to define a course of action for her. He's afraid that she, or more probably the guards and her sycophants, would take that as a challenge to her privileged status. He appeals to her mercy, not her duty.

TREA HOLBIN seems mildly annoyed by the gnome. Possibly, she's taken his frank appeal on behalf of the two servants as a wheedling, presumptuous speech. There is a big social gap between the gnome and this lady, which may complicate things.

These two seem to be holding back personal info about Aldron Folbre, and are trying to deflect blame from him.
There is no strong sign that they actually know his secret plans. You do get the impression their excuses for him might cover some doubts about his innocence.

They might be exaggerating a bit about the numbers of dogs-- but it does seem believable that Folbre keeps dangerous guard beasts. Caution is advised. If he has war dogs with armor...that could get really ugly for any burglars, in a jiffy.

The shifty guys with the sour wine might be somebody the party has already met...

The Cook's description of the vineyard whereabouts and of the men generally matches the vineyard you guys raided and the thugs you chased out.
It is not exact enough for certainty.
Draw your own conclusions.
