Just thought I'd let people know that the Little Fears Yahoo site has experienced an upswing in activity and we have a Fanzine in the works, so if you would like to join the discussion or contribute to the zine, drop by the site and let us know you're there.

So, the new release of little fears "Little Fears: Nightmare Edition" is scheduled for certain - absolutely certain - release on October 16th of this year and reorders have begun; you can find their site, along with some preview material here:
http://www.littlefears.com/
I am attempting to get some kind of Pyramid scheme advertisement going if I can get each of you to post this on another site or two - even if we get some overlap that would help spread the word and get people interested - I would highly appreciate it. Thanks much!

Looks like I forgot to mention the game has been released and the new version is- while somewhat different from the original - still fantastic.
You can go to
http://www.littlefears.com/ to order the new version in hard back or pdf. The yahoo list has been pretty dead recently, but there are more than enough people there to answer questions and discuss the material if you are interested.

The Little Fears website (
http://www.littlefears.com/ ) has been updated, including the announcement of two up coming products: Campfire Tales, which should be out at the end of the month; and Among the Missing, which should be out sometime next year.
Check it out and feel free to drop by the Yahoo site (
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/little_fears/ ) to talk about LF - even if only to ask questions or pose ideas - we're always happy to have people with something to say.

Hey, for those of you who don't know, "Little Fears: Nightmare Edition" just released its first supplement, entitled "Among the Missing", which deals with kids who are Kidnapped, Abandoned, Forgotten, Runaway, or just swallowed up by the world. It's a well written supplement with some pretty tight editing and fantastic artwork.
And for those of you who wanted a copy of the Original, darker version, of the game, a 10th anniversary edition - "Happy Birthday Little Fears" - which contains all the original material, with some new art and a few other extras, is coming out next month.
If you're curious, or still interested in checking out the line, but had forgot, the webite is still at:
http://www.littlefears.com/
And, no, I don't make money off pushing the game - I'm just a fan who wants to see it keep on growing ... like a dark and insidious beast just waiting to devour the wary and unwary alike.

I'd never heard of this game, but can I just give you the hugest thank you for introducing me to a system I could convince
someone else to run for a change?

You should head over to the Little Fears Yahoo board, you can find accounts of other people's adventures, some monster ideas, and other discussions over there. (It's a little quiet right now, but it is never dead and the Author is usually available if you have questions or comments)

Speaking of, the 10th anniversary edition of LF, "Happy Birthday Little Fears" just recently hit the streets. I am running a little contest on RPG.net to win a copy of the game, so if you haven't picked it up and you'd like to see the system that started it all, (with some new art and added material) drop by and submit your entry:

I look forward to seeing what my fellow Ravenloft fans come up with.
