In case you don't want to copy the Kargatane with your ranks you might reveal what ranks do you have?
Perhaps some symbol, having increasing complexity for higher ranks, could denote them. Conspirator would have some really simple sign while the Fraternity would have an Arcane Knotwork of Death and Gothicity

Criminal Mastermind
ArchVillian
Evil Genius
Special ranks, as they exist, are;
Moderator
Lord of Illusion
Dark Lord of Shri Raji
and Self Appointed Paladin

Greetings to the "Powers-that-be";
I have been a
long time lurker on the old board,& figured since I'd gotten so many good ideas off that one,I'd be apart of this one....
so I registered on this new place - only there seems to be a slight wrinkle in the plan.
You see,I registered on the 4th of Dec.,I'm on the Memberlist,but when I try to log on,it tells me that I'm invalid...
Did I do something wrong?? Part of the reason might be that when I did register the 1st time,it said that I'd get an E-mail with some info on it - but the E-mail never came....
unless it went right to my spam box,which I don't read...just delete.
If that is the case,could you send it again please? & if thats not it,could you look into this for me?

But what's with the Self-appointed Paladin? What do you do to achieve that rank?
One more request: more smileys! I don't see the big difference between all these, we need a bit more diversity, methinks:
Perhaps some emoticons representing some of our beloved darklords?

Yeah, see that's the problem right there. You do need to activate the user account, by hitting that link.
Junk email takes on a new, disturbing dimension with this technology. Just about every group email, or board related email goes right there. Not a nice situation.
Is it already deleted from your junk email?
I'll see if I can arrange for the user account to be activated, otherwise we'll have to start this again from scratch.

Suddenly the board has started loggin me out after each visit! Any idea why? It wasn't like this before, and I have all cookies and stuff enabled...

How long after each visit?
The board will log a user off if you don't post or do anything for an extended period of time, say about an hour.

Is this new? It never did this before, at least not in my experience.
EDIT: I found out what the problem was: my computers clock was set to 2005 for some reason, thus, my cookies didn't match properly...

No its not new. it's been that way since the begining. You can choose to log yourself in for a certain ammount of time. Its the session length option when you log in.

When I first tried logging on and registering there was some snafu and my first account didn't take or e-mail me. And is still floating around the ether of the member-lists.
You can delete it if ya want. I believe it's "The Jester" or something. It'll be the one w/o posts....
