Every time I interact with this NPC I feel as if Alain is going to die in the following post...BigBadQDaddy wrote:Alain turns and smiles to Shana, "Well, this is it." He then turns again to face the hovel. Once he reaches the door he knocks, calling out to Mara.

Spot check for Alain, please. Oh, Shana gets one too, if she's nearby and looking at the same overall scene as Alain [the doorway, the room, the girl,etc].

Shana is right there beside Alain, looking at the exact same scene, but her Spot check totals 7, which I suspect is not enough.
She has tken the opportunity of the walk through the streets to cast Mage Armour however.
